Dear Philip,

It was good texting with you yesterday. We are sorry about the cats and other things and hope that things look up for you soon.

As I mentioned I have been watching some of the cricket and tennis on www.espn3.com. It is good to have a source online for all different sports. I am wondering who will stream the World Cup in USA?

Just checked . . . .

ESPN will present all 64 matches of the 2014 FIFA World Cup live and in high definition on ESPN, ESPN2 and ABC during its comprehensive coverage of the month-long tournament in Brazil, June 12 – July 13. Extensive studio programming originating from the host country is also planned, including pre-match shows, halftime and post-match segments. ESPN will televise 43 World Cup matches, while ESPN2 will air 11. All ESPN and ESPN2 matches (and surrounding studio programming) will be available via WatchESPN. ABC will broadcast 10 matches (all available on WATCH ABC), beginning with Colombia vs. Greece at 11:30 a.m. ET on Saturday, June 14, live from Estadio Mineirao in Belo Horizonte. The tournament will conclude on ABC with the title match Sunday, July 13, at 2:30 p.m. from Rio de Janeiro’s famed Estadio Do Maracana.

WatchESPN and WatchABC are streaming for phones and tablets but I hook laptop to TV so watch them in comfort. Of course World Cup clashes with Wimbledon. But first there is the French Open where everyone will be waiting see if Nadal can win his 9th.

Weather here is slowly improving. TV just said 5 days in the 50s F this week. Celia is looking forward to hiking soon. Are you exercising??

We enjoy the near daily CC fotos from Lucy and Graham though they mostly are of her eating! Would be nice to get regularly ones from you even if just views of Tring or computer parts!! Makes one feel closer.

Will you be rescheduling your visit to Paul. I know Valerie was looking forward to seeing you. David will not be in the Arcadian Players Shakespeare this year. They are doing Falstaff (bits from various plays) but someone else got the part of Falstaff - Valerie said he was a good actgor and as he was about 5' 8" tall and 5' 8" round he was more physically suited to play the part!!

However David has been asked to perform in a cabret in October (I think) so I have referred him to some old music-hall scripts.

All the best - hope to hear from you soon.

Love Dad and Celia
